The location of Apa Hotel Hakata Higashihieekimae is unbeatable, just steps from Higashi Hie subway station and close to Fukuoka Airport. Loved how clean everything was, with daily towel replacements even without requesting room service. The shower had excellent hot water. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillow upon request. Good value for money, especially with an appealing breakfast packed with various vegetables. Breakfast quality was impressive, showcasing dedication to detail. However, the a/c in my room didn’t quite meet expectations—it struggled to keep the room cool enough during my stay. The room size was small, typical in Japan, making it a bit cramped for my luggage. Street noise was noticeable at night, even with the window slightly open for fresh air. Overall, a solid choice for Fukuoka, especially for a quick and efficient stay.

Room too small for two people with large luggage!!! Air conditioning blowing directly onto the bed creates uncomfortable temperature swings!!! Limited parking availability leads to parking in nearby supermarket lot!!!
